Rachel was warm and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. The room was light and inviting with a lovely comfy bed, fridge, tv, kettle and lots of extras - mini toothbrushes and toothpaste, face mask, eye masks etc.
The bathroom had a spacious and powerful shower and bathrobes and slippers were provided.
The breakfast room was bright and clean with a good view of the large and well established garden. There was a good selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt, juice, pastries, fresh bread, eggs, tea and coffee. The range of preserves was amazing and we enjoyed different ones each day.
This was a lovely, clean and homely property and we will definitely see if there is a room available when we are in the area again. Lovely hosts and Ragnar the dog is adorable.

Hazel’s pod was everything we wished for! Cute, cosy, quiet and right next to showers, toilet and kitchen so perfect for the middle of the night visit to the loo! Carol was such a wonderful host and cooked us the most delicious breakfast. I love nature and animals so was in my element feeding all the ducks in a safe enclosure and spotting the Guinea pigs rustling in the bushes… Thank you Carol and Steve it really was a special weekend.
