This cottage is quite a special find. We were blown away by the location right beside the river, there is even a small waterfall if you go behind the woodshed. It was so peaceful and beautiful and the cottage is big and has everything you could ever need with lots of quirky antiques. The aga cooker and roll top bath are lovely luxuries and it has a very comfortable, warm atmosphere. It really is like living in a faerie tale cottage in the woods with the stunning Ness Glen accessible onsite and loch Doon and Dalcairney falls were beautiful too. Our dog loved it and we really didn't want to leave.Scotland in the woods by a river, don't forget your midge spray because you will want to sit out in the garden relaxing to the sound of the river because it is blissful.

Situated in Dalmellington, 40 km from Royal Troon, Forget Me Not Holiday Cottage features accommodation with wellness packages, beauty services and a fitness room. The property has river and garden views, and is 30 km from Ayr Racecourse. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

Lovely cottage by the small stream in the estate. The estate is rural with attractions like waterfall and the breathtaking Loch Doon, but no sign posts for the attractions. Took us two attempts to find the waterfall. Very quiet with only nature sounds. Well equipped kitchen. Big utility room with washing machine and dryer. Thankfully no midgets when we stayed. Dalmellington is small and uninteresting but has some convenience stores enough for our needs.

Lovely, traditional cottage. The location is on a well-managed, beautiful and tranquil estate, with plentiful woodland and river walks for dogs and/or kids.

The view from the pod is fantastic, as well as the little outside seating/eating area. It is quite a large pod and so you don't feel like you're on top of each other. Lovely for kids as plenty of place for them to run around and play.

Great place to stay. Good for families and group of friends. There is a nice chalet with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Make sure you bring bedding as they only provide pillows. But such a peaceful location. Loved It. Will be back for sure

The surroundings where beautiful, cottage lovely and cosy. Beds comfy and home well equipped. Host was amazing, had a slight issue which was sorted so quickly. Kids loved playing in the woods and by the river. Loved finding a little face hidden in the brickwork.
