This was a perfect place to experience Speyside! Our beds were so comfy, and our bathroom floor was heated! It was also so nice to come back and have a dram at the bar and meet other travelers.

Nestled in the luxury valley of Speyside, The Craigellachie Hotel was described by Condé Nast Traveller as “the oldest and greatest whisky hotel in the world”. The Craigellachie has 26 bedrooms, and it’s home to the oldest pub in Speyside: the Spey Inn, an old drovers inn dating back to 1703, and to the world-renowned Quaich Bar, where guests and tourists can savour over 1,000 single-malt whiskies alongside some of the best cocktails.

Exceptional! Great location, food and above all the Whisky bar is the best I have been all my life. Rooms are very clean and spacious. If you plan to visit the Speyside for the Whisky trail or anything else, I highly recommend this hotel. Price maybe higher than most hotels but its really worth it

The holiday home, set in a building dating from 19th century, is 35 km from Leith Hall Garden & Estate and 39 km from Kildrummy Castle. We basically liked everything. Spacious house with everything necessary in the kitchen (utensils, plates, glasses, super nice oven, a toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle, etc.), also hair dryers for convenience. The host was responsive at any moment in case anything popped up. There were cleaning products, clean towels. The bathrooms are new and convenient. There is also a separate toilet with no bath or shower which is very convenient, not mentioned in the description but good to know. Super cosy place, great rooms for any activity - dining, TV, chilling, playing games. Great bedrooms with nice furniture.

The hotel is perfectly located in the whisky region we wanted to explore. The staff were great and really helpful to aid organisation before we arrived; taxis arranged to get around. The room (Caperdronch suite) was as fabulous as it looks on the website. Great food and an excellent whisky menu ******

Small hotel that provides excellence size of room, high ceiling, large bathroom (we booked family room), adequate furnitures in the room. They have a small kitchen, which makes pretty good dinner and breakfast. I am a frequently traveler, and not staying small hotel or Airbnb room, I booked this room based on the pictures showed on the web, and price. I didn’t expect the facility was really nice, like a good hotel (not a motel!) room. Highly recommend.

A blazing log fire in reception was very welcoming a d the staff. dry friendly. Nice size room with clean and well equipped en-suite. Nice restaurant with well kept hand-pulled beer and good food. Live music on the Friday evening was very good. The Quaich bar was good fun, with many whiskies to choose from.
