Great Staff, good food both at breakfast and Dining. Good location in the center of the village , quiet. A nicely renovated Victorian Era hotel. An interesting little village for a stroll around too. I thought it was excellent value for money as I used it for a Base for 3 days sightseeing around that part of Scotland.

It’s location just outside of town was perfect. Beautiful Victorian reconstruction, the room was comfortable and beautiful. The proprietor, Andrew, was a step above. Not only did he make my stay perfectly comfortable, he was also a wonderful guide and what to do in the area.
