We had a room with a wet room, which was good for me as I have mobility issues. The bonus was that it was also dog friendly. It was also good for us as it was just off the M6, and it has plenty of grounds to walk a dog where dog bins are provided. Also, if you need to take a longer walk with your dog, there's a nice park next door

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The staff were very polite and welcoming from the first instance, and directed me twice towards the correct check in area. The room was clean and well presented throughout, and kept at a warm temperature. Restaurant area was well maintained and staffed, and food was of a good quality and atmosphere was family-friendly.
Was told only started serving breakfast at 10am this was unsuitable as the purpose of our stay was a family funeral which started at 10.30. So we ate elsewhere.
We have stayed here twice now. The facilities are good and the room is big and comfy for two adults, a child and a Labrador. Breakfast is exactly what you would expect which is perfect for us. We stay here on our journey to family in Wales.
The staff at Hinds Head were so friendly and helpful. We were staying because of family funeral nearby and they made our room available early so that we could freshen up and change clothes after our journey. We ate lunch which was excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The room was beautifully done with lovely views. Felt so welcome and would recommend to everyone both for food and staying. There are gardens and plenty of parking. Superb outside facilities for special events.
