We had a wonderful night at the Swan. We were welcomed and shown to lovely room.. We enjoyed a very well priced, lovely dinner. We were welcomed in the morning and had a great choice of breakfasts. Pity we live in Wales or we would return regularly. Thanks

Coachroad Shepherds Huts, hotel in Chiddingfold

Set just 27 km from Goodwood Racecourse, Coachroad Shepherds Huts provides accommodation in Petworth with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as private check-in and check-out.

What an absolutely amazing place to stay, my partner and I enjoyed an evening sat around the fire pit using their outdoor BBQ facilities, and as the evening got colder we put the log burner on inside and sat and played some games. The bed was so comfy, my concern before I got there was that I'm 6ft and didn't know if I would fit in the bed, but there is more than enough room, I reckon you could be 6ft 5in and still have plenty of room! The little kitchen was perfect and had all the utensils for what you'll need to do any cooking. The bathroom was lovely, and my partner and I couldn't believe the size of the shower that was in there, my partner also could stop washing her hands in the bathroom because the hand soap that is provided smells like nothing I've ever smelt before, it really was so nice! All in all this place was immaculate, the attention to detail was perfect, and if you are looking for a quiet tranquil place to stay to forget about the stresses of life then this is it! My partner and I will be booking again.

Harper's Steakhouse with Rooms, Haslemere, hotel in Chiddingfold

Harper's Steakhouse with Rooms, Haslemere is set in Haslemere and has a garden and terrace. The property features a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided.

The venue is well located, close to the main railway station. The room was comfortable, well appointed, nice selection of tea/coffee, even hot chocolate and biscuits. I thought the room would be noisy close to the main road, however it was remarkably quiet. The breakfast was great value for money and very well cooked with good produce used. We had dinner on the first evening and the food and drink was really good with some great choice options.

Inn on the Lake by Innkeeper's Collection, hotel in Chiddingfold

Inn on the Lake by Innkeeper's Collection boasts a lakeside location and is surrounded by picturesque gardens.

Well appointed hotel in our home town - we had to vacate home for a night due to an emergency. The room we were given was really big (apparently it’s the honeymoon suite!), with a decent tv, nice bathroom, and the amenities - like nice shower gels, a hair dryer etc. - you’d expect when paying more than £100 per night. The bed was really comfortable, and the pillows and covers were snuggly. The room was double aspect, and had a nice palette of greens to the walls and covers etc. there was a decent kettle and a good number of both caffeinated and decaffeinated offerings on the tea tray.

The Georgian, Haslemere, Surrey, hotel in Chiddingfold

The Georgian Hotel is situated in Haslemere town centre, set in a garden. There is free high speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Clean, comfortable and well-appointed rooms and en-suite bathrooms. Restaurant had lovely atmosphere, staff were friendly and found the right level of attentiveness without being intrusive. Varied menu to suit all tastes and the food was tasty, well-presented and not so huge in portion size that we couldn't manage dessert! Breakfast was also excellent, served on the glassed-in terrace overlooking the garden.

Pound Corner, hotel in Chiddingfold

Pound Corner is powered by 100% renewable sources , supported by solar panels and an air source heat pump.

This property gave reasonable value for money for the location. We liked having our own space rather than staying in a hotel room. Generally, the property was clean and the linen was spotless. Fans were provided for use on hotter days and they did a great job. There were nice views from the dormer windows. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Had we been staying for longer, the laundry room would have been very useful. It was possible to walk to the station for access to other areas.

The large family room and the staff was lovely. The outside garden is super good. Eve was especially attentive to us as a group and made us feel at home whilst being professional about time to close off for the night.

our booking got cancelled 10 minutes before we arrived after driving over 2 hours. when I tried to call the owner, she ignored all my calls and then went on to sent rather blunt messages via text message. i was promised a refund and I am yet to hear anything about it.

I loved the creative appearance of the inside of this little place. The space works, the sofas are comfortable, the bed is very comfortable and the decor is fun and quirky. It’s on the edge of farmland. A public footpath leads through gates to farmland in the area. It’s a great situation for exploring the area near Haslemere for walks

Location was delightful. Provisions at The Bothy were ideal (this was an urgent booking for me on the day with one hours notice) Bear in mind BOOKING.COM had already severed my original choice for The Studio (at the same location) saying my payment was not accepted and a refund would take place. (another story....)

They upgraded us to a family room at no extra cost when I called and said I had also to bring with me my younger child. The staff was lovely and helpful. The room was beautiful and very well equipped with a huge comfy king bed.
