Breakfast was good, maybe some more fresh fruit rather than tinned peaches would of been nice - i.e grapefruit segments, berries etc.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.

staff were friendly and efficient, would recommend friends and family to stay at The George Hotel.
Plenty of room in the restaurant area at the rear of the bar as family members joined for food.
Location was fab and views from the property were delightful, beds were extremely comfortable. Overall property size and layout were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and visit to IOM, shops within walking distance. Lots to do with children, Castle Rushen worth a visit. Overall I would recommend this property and we would like to return at some point.
We were treated like family. Everyone were super nice. The pub food was outstanding and reasonable price. Great point to get to all the places we wanted to on the Island.
Castletown isn't a big place but The George is very central. The staff couldn't do enough for you. I didn't eat at the hotel as I was visiting family nearby but judging by the number of people eating in the hotel I can only imagine the food was good. The hotel was refurbished a few years back and is in tip top condition.
Nice enclosed garden and large family bathroom. Good sized bedrooms for a three bed cottage.
Well situated for touring the south and west of the island and just a mile from Castletown.
