The breakfast was fine. The evening meal on Saturday was awful, and so were the staff. The exact opposite on Sunday, when the food was excellent and so were the staff

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your place! we were happy to "land" at the quiet neighborhood and get such a needed rest after a long flight. We loved the small garden and the bedrooms, kitchen was spacious and comfortable. exactly what we needed after a transatlantic flight with kids!
A generous unlimited breakfast.
I did liked almost every thing.
The kindness of the owners, even if you don’t see them often, they check on you , ( msg, mails…). The lodge in all is very clean and tidy thanks to Kennedi…
A kind of a family lodge, each one of us has to tidy up after using some utilities..,
I do recommend that lodge for anyone coming to the area.
This was a lovely building with friendly staff! It just looked a bit tired. The room, but particularly the spa area and the changing rooms could do with a little freshen up :) Breakfast was nice enough (loved that we could order all types of eggs), but coffee was less nice. Tasted really funny. Staff - were all excellent!
Hotel was beautifully decorated, our room was spotless. Lovely little touch with chocolates on the pillow. The pub located next to the hotel is lovely too - great choice of food for both breakfast and an evening meal. Caters will for families. Great that the hotel has a family room that can accommodate our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) as many don’t and we end up having to book two separate rooms.
All the staff during our stay were super friendly and really helpful - all those in the pub and the lady on reception when we checked out.
The breakfast was very good value and we enjoyed this a lot, We enjoyed the evening meal also. I stayed at the hotel with my two teenagers, we were down from Cambridge visiting family. We slept well and the staff was all very nice and friendly. We will stay again on our next trip down. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and my children liked the room. Nice having a window you can open to let some breeze in. A short walk to the shops and a lovely country park. A few pubs are also down the road.
Staff were struggling with some very thoughtless guests, but kept their cool really well. The restaurant had problems with uncontrolled children who were causing chaos, as were the inconsiderate parents. Once they’d gone we laughed with the staff, but they handled it really well. Reception was exceedingly helpful and always cheerful. We’ll be back yet again next year. (We have a yearly family reunion)
