Great space, much bigger than it looked on the photos. Comfortable beds, good heating so lovely and warm, combi boiler for hot water. Secondary double glazing is excellent - it is on quite a busy road but we weren’t aware of any traffic noise. Really worked for our family group of five adults, only one bathroom but we were fine with that. Main bedroom is really big. Would definitely book again if we were in the area again. Parking for 2-3 cars, recommend reversing in as on a busy road.

My stay at the Dog and Partridge was very short. In fact, I checked in and went straight to sleep. I had had a day in Bristol with my family. I didn't stay for breakfast as I wanted to get on the road. In saying that the staff were excellent! So welcoming and friendly!! So good to feel relaxed in an unfamiliar place.

Lovely decor and well furnished. Beds were comfortable and rooms homely. Staff were friendly and could not do enough to help. Don’t make breakfast normally but made us free toast, coffee and drinks as had to leave early for the kids sporting event. So lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Ideal for working person whom will not be spending much time at the property. Would describe the place as functional and quite dated, though everything works. The star of this place though is the owner, Gwyneth. When I have work again in this area I will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful location in a tiny village. We stayed in family rooms which were very spacious. The pub was very welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal plus delicious breakfast the next morning. The kids enjoyed the pig in the field too! Very close to Avebury and Lacock which are both worth a visit. Hope to return again one day.
