Great little flat in Burghead. Well appointed with everything you'd need for a short or prolonged stay. We were visiting family in the area and was great to return to our own cosy place. Beds were very comfortable, towels and linen fantastic quality and was a lovely touch leaving some freshly roasted local coffee and some mini chocolate eggs for the kids (we stayed over Easter weekend). Would happily stay again without hesitation.

The beach and area in general is fantastic. Used the washing machines and toilets on the caravan site - all ok and clean. Vans are reasonably spaced. Dogs allowed on the beach all year. Amazing to watch the jets from RAF Lossiemouth going in and out on training missions - noisy (for a few minutes a few times a day) but fun to watch! Having an RAF base so close does not at all detract from how lovely the area is.

The caravan is great! Clean, spacious and great value for money. Dog friendly which was a bonus for us having a labrador. The caravan is ideally situated near the facilities which is great during the day. It was a little noisy at night with people leaving the bar. Communication with the owner Karen was very smooth. Always on hand to answer any questions. Silversands is lovely. Great access to the beautiful beach. There are lots of facilities on site for kids too. The restaurant food does need improvement. I felt like we'd just eaten a bargain microwave meal. Some of the staff also seemed to be having a bad day. Don't let that put you off. There a couple of good places to eat in Lossiemouth. Harbour Lights has really good food and service. All in all a lovely stay. Thanks Karen!
