The facilities were superb, and the food offered was delicious and wide ranging, especially for breakfast. Really convenient location for Huntingdon. Nice spacious rooms and felt clean and well kept. The baby gate for the stairs was great. I felt really safe letting my baby roam the apartment, too. The selection of shampoos and conditioners and body wash made it really convenient.

Location was good for visiting family in St Neots. Room was upgraded without asking. Food was very good quality, plentiful and reasonably priced. As an older lady travelling alone I felt very comfortable and secure staying there.

If you would like to stay in a traditional, cosy pub near Cambridge, this is the place. The house dates back to the 15th century and is now lovingly run by a young family. The rooms are comfortable and the food, especially the English breakfast, is also very good. A much better alternative to an expensive, modern hotel in the city. You can park right outside the door.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and were expected. Lovely log fire in the bar area and it looked warm and welcoming. We were given key for our room and were told breakfast was served between 8 and 10 am next morning. We had come to Buckden as we have family living close by. I asked if would we be able to get back in later and would the door be open. We were told the key for the front door was on our room keys. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable.
