Inside you will find a delightful house, much enlarged from the original 19th century manse. Our inspiration has been the unique lakeside setting and natural habitat for seasonal and permanent residents such as osprey, otter, geese, swans our duck family and more. Decorated in the warm and welcoming style of a classic New England waterfront hotel that perfectly compliments this special waterfront setting.

Overlooking the Campsie Fells, Rockfoot B&B is just 1 mile from the village of Fintry. With free Wi-Fi, this family-run property is situated on a working farm, approximately 17 miles from both Stirling and Glasgow.

The Rockfoot B&B was in the heart of the Campsie Dells and centrally located for our trips to Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Sterling, The Devil’s Pulpit, Glasgow and points south and east. Moira was a perfect host and a good cook. As many of our stays we chose this for its remote location away from cities and it is very much a working farm with a very large flock of sheep. Our room was excellent and everything was perfectly clean. Moira took time to answer many of our questions and made us feel at home. This is an excellent place to stay for a Holiday, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Every little detail in that house has been tastefully taken care of, a five star hotel has NOTHING on Marion's B&B. The house is amazing, the breakfast was delicious and it was served in a little house that is straight up out of a movie. Really accommodating host and we loved that she let us play with the super cute family dog. Thank you Marion for an unforgettable B&B experience.

Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked breakfast and porridge every morning. Also a choice of fresh juice each morning with accompanying tea or coffee and a wide selection of cereals. Location was stunning and surprisingly close to things to do, we stayed for 3 nights and packed each day with visits to Loch lomond and Stirling castle as well as travelling the surrounding areas and finding delicious places to eat. We were suggested places to eat and visit as well which were also fun and delicious.
