What's not to like!!!!!
This was our second visit. This time we stayed for 4 nights. So glad we did. So much to explore. Great walks and runs on the doorstep.
Local cafes/pubs great food.
BBQ with a view!!
And best of all the wildlife.
The chickens, geese, guinea fowl, ducks and little moorhen that greeted us every morning and evening when we were around was fantastic. Our little boy was in his element. He was having the best time ever feeding them and sat chatting to them.
Molly the dog was so sweet and lovely to see everyday.
We can't wait to return.

Excellent throughout. Ate at the Bistro twice during our stay. Food was beautiful and extemely well priced. The hotel pool was also lovely. All staff we came across were helpful.

Lovely old pub in good location, excellent staff, good food. Rooms were in an annex on ground floor and 1st floor. Good facilities in rooms but being old building in need of some tlc. Good value for money. We were there for 2 nights for a wedding nearby.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very convenient for the family event we were attending the following day. We were able to go in & out of our room& property without going through the pub.
Given the nature of my visit to Brough how lucky I was to have ended up at this property.The hosts are a wonderfully elegant and energetic couple who are very knowledgeable of the area, also thoroughly engaging,which was great for me as I had never visited that specific part of Yorkshire.Cannot express how great this place is and cannot find words to describe how fantastic ALL were during my visit.They put up with me..and all my sins..This is the secret jewel of that area i suspect.shhhh
The hosts were excellent, and very accommodating. We asked if we could extend the check out time, and made some last minute alterations to the bookings, which the owners were able to help with. We felt very well looked after. We stayed at Arista for a family wedding, so it was nice to be in a warm and homely house. Lovely!!
