We loved the location and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are large and spotless.
The lady on reception with the coloured hair, sorry I didn’t get her name, was one of the best receptionists I have ever met. Nothing was a problem and she had a great sense of humour. A credit to the hotel.

Perfect location on a quiet street but not even a minute walk to the front. The place was spotless and had everything you needed for a lovely stay. Decking area to sit in was great. Would definitely recommend this place

We based ourselves at Oakbank farm with our bikes for 3 days, perfect setup and big shed to store bikes. The shore road leading to Oakbank is stunning and we were able to watch the seals every day. Great apartment and location and we will definitely stay again when we visit Arran.

The location was exceptionally quiet and unspoilt by any external lights at night. We required a pair of cables for electrical equipment we had inadvertently left at home. Our host turned up at the front door with an offer to loan if we required however we had already purchased replacements. A very enjoyable and restful week, just what we needed. Various Hotels and eateries dotted over the island with a very good one up the lane from our accommodation. Walks and hiking readily available for all abilities.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We loved everything about The Grennan from the amazing views, the location, the warm welcome, and the exceptional breakfast. We would highly recommend this to our friends and family.
I had just finished staying at Trump Turnberry where i toured 6 American ladies on three one day tours. I can honestly say that my stay at Kinloch equaled my stay at Turnberry. Beautiful place with truly excellent staff. I aim to return to Kinloch with my complete family on my and my twin brother’s birthday in September 2025 😀
breakfast was 1st class staff 1st class family run hotel 1st class and owner works along with the staff and very friendly to them -not often seen these days.
The property was made welcoming and comfortable for out Christmas break...We wanted for nothing as all essentials we made avaliable by the hosts.
A very memorable time for myself and my extended family.
The location was convenient with amenities nearby and a lovely view out of the conservatory as a bonus. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and spacious - it was nicer than the pictures! The apartment had everything we needed for a 5 night stay with a toddler. We would definitely recommend the accommodation to friends and family.
