Absolutely beautiful property, the apartments were just perfect for our big family group for a local wedding. There is a lovely outside space for everyone to gather, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Each apartment had a selection of breakfast items which was a lovely touch. Beautiful, cosy , clean, great location, chilled , everything that I needed for my working stay in the area. Fantastic communication with the host family in addition to the lovely bits that were left for me complimentary to eat and drink. This was a great personal touch
We booked this alongside the carriage house for part of a big family group for a local wedding and it was just perfect - it meant everyone could stay together in one site. The rooms were lovely and there was a little breakfast pack provided. The owners were incredibly friendly too!

A lovely quiet location with easy check in. I chose it mainly so my children could sleep well and it was great for that. Also, we wanted it to be accessible to York and we found the Askam park and ride 7 minutes drive away was very good and much better value than parking in the city. The house was comfortable and had all the things you would want in a holiday house. My son enjoyed playing football in the garden.
Was only there for a short time after a wedding in the nearby Norman’s. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast included. The village and surrounding area looked lovely it was just a shame we had to get back for the kids!
