Offering a bar, the property is located within 16 km of Chessington World of Adventures. The property is non-smoking and is located 17 km from Nonsuch Park.

At first we found the bar staff to be vague and inattentive but then we met Lucy, the assistant manager who could not have been more helpful. The room we had booked had been given to someone else in a party but Lucy and the manager quickly sorted us out with two rooms rather than one and we were quite happy to have been upgraded.

Staff very friendly and helpful from Eleonor on Reception through to Mary and Tessa in the bar and restaurant. Made my sister's 60th birthday special. Given a glass of prosecco to celebrate my sister's birthday on the house. Very thoughtful. Excellent full breakfast and afternoon tea. Wow... what an absolute find! Marc and the team are so kind, considerate and accommodating. We fell in love with everything about this place, from the peaceful location to the spacious, clean and comfortable room. In fact, we love the Red Lion so much that we have decided that this is the ideal place to hold our wedding reception. I can't wait to show this place off to my family and friends! Thank you again for your hospitality! Tash and J xxx

We were very disappointed to find there was no breakfast. When booked through booking.com the accommodation was described as “Bed &Breakfast”. This was very misleading and annoying.

Genuine excellent customer service. Clearly a very creative culture led by the Landlord who personally took time to chat to me after I'd been to a funeral. Check out the interesting wooden sculptures in the garden area, they are awesome. A lot of effort has clearly gone into making this place have a unique warm and positive atmosphere. I can see it would be an excellent place to go to as a couple or a group, also has a function room plus rooms to stay the night.

Amazing stay! Mark and his team couldn’t have made us feel anymore welcome. We stayed in recently converted rom in the barn which was beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed. The room had lovely touches to make it feel like home from home. The setting was lovely and the hospitality given was 5 star. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable and so much fun! Definitely worthwhile booking this B&B…..the sisters from Shropshire will definitely visiting again!
