Menus for breakfast and dinner were varied and all food was good quality and well cooked. It was nice to have some different options to try - excellent chef - thank you. All the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed and good shower.

As it's a Grade 1 listed building, it has so much character. It's situated on the main high street. Our room was large with on suite, and the bed was comfortable. We had a full English breakfast, which was delicious. The staff are lovely.

What a fabulous place. We only stayed for one night but will but for more next year as it was so fabulous. A stunning view as you approach the Hall, and a lovely welcome. Beautiful bedroom and public rooms ( it is a historic house) and the food was also brilliant. Friendly courteous staff.
You can even pet the alpacas and donkey belonging to the Hall. I can't praise it enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Barn, even if it was just for one night. The bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable, and the charming decor made us feel so cozy.
Waking up surrounded by beautiful fields was lovely, and I was more than happy to cancel my morning plans just to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. We would happily stay again!

We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was light and generously proportioned with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. It was simply and tastefully decorated and offered beautiful country views from the windows.
Breakfast was delicious, and nutritious with fresh fruits, nuts and yogurt as well as cereals and the traditional English breakfast, which included freshly laid eggs. There was also a choice of small snack meals in our room in the evening if required.
I will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

It was beautifully presented and felt very homely. The host had put a lot of thought into what guests may need for their stay. There was ample room for the three of us and it was so nice we decided to stay in and have a Chinese takeaway and have a good catch up around the dining table. The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk to the town centre, which had lots of cafes, pubs, shops and a great market.
