Highly recommended - we had dinner and breakfast, and they were both amazing. The accomodation is very comfortable, and the staff very nice. The location is easy to get to, even by public transport (there is a bus stop with the same name as the hotel right in front of it). You can take a regular bus to/from Edinburgh, which is pretty cheap.

The staff went above expectations to insure we had a great stay. Restaurant was exceptional. Neighborhood Lounge and bar was on premise. Bus stop at hotel entrance. Loved the thick walls and breakfast room decor. But the staff is what makes this an excellent place to stay. Location is about twelve miles out of Edinburgh and is in walking distance to Roslyn Chapel.

The people were awesome, made it a great stay! The location in terms of driving to places we wanted to go and having public bus outside the door was terrific. Great place to park and have a pint at the end of the day.

Great experience, mansion straight out of the movie or a novel. We loved it! Such an experience! Kitchen facilities were very nice. Kids loved our stay,. especially the game room. If you are looking for an experience and an adventure you will not be disappointed, If you are looking for a standard hotel room look elsewhere.
