The Atherstone Red Lion Hotel stands as an independent establishment with a rich history dating back to the early 1500s when it served as a coaching inn.

Hospitality! It was my child's birthday and the hotel staff has made such an effort! He felt very special! We all loved our stay and would highly recommend!

The balcony (although we didn't get much of a chance to use it because of the rain). The price.

Ethel was incredible, and our entire stay was fantastic. I couldn't recommend it more highly!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Loved the Bell Tent we stayed in, kids really enjoyed it and us too. I could see how nice the site would be in Summer. Very affordable and good facilities available, fire pit amazing AND the wood supplied, very nice touch that. Thought the fairy lights and bunting really made it gorgeous and a little magical.
Really quiet and peaceful location. The place was spotless and really well maintained. Very child friendly, my boys loved the football pitch. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were really nice. Bell tent was super comfy and had loads of room. Will definitely book again 😁
We have stayed here several times before and always had a pleasant stay but less so this time. The staff were very helpful on arrival, we arrived late evening after a family funeral.
It was convenient for what I wanted. The room slept three which was ok for me and my two children of 14 years. I did not take breakfast as I have family locally. The car parking could be better as the options outside of the hotel parking are limited and can get expensive.
