Great experience, mansion straight out of the movie or a novel. We loved it! Such an experience! Kitchen facilities were very nice. Kids loved our stay,. especially the game room. We were looking for a castle stay and truly got one! The castle is beautiful, original and has an interesting history. The room was spacious. Spa was a comfortable added value. Dinnering in the Dungeon restaurant with its preceeding practise/ceremony was a great experience not to be missed.

Perfect base to explore Edinburgh as the property is located close enough to the city but is surrounded by pretty farmlands. We drove to Gorebridge station, parking is free and took a train to Edinburgh Waverley sation which is in the heart of the city in less than 30 mins.. made exploring Edimburgh easy and stressfree. The hosts; Samantha and Stefan were very helpful before and during our stay. Thank you for hosting us. Will stay again.
