The host, Barbara, was so kind and welcoming. We spent a long time chatting with her and finding out about her interesting life. The lodge is perfectly located for sightseeing, or attending weddings in the area. The breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. We could not have wished for a better place to stay

What a perfect place to spend a weekend with the family. The children had so much fun in the gardens playing swingball, swinging on the tree swings, toasting marshmallows in the fire pit, playing catch with hobbes (the owners beautiful dog) and they even got to hold and feed Rosie the owners chicken! The accommodation itself was immaculate and had everything we needed to make it feel like a home from home. Such a beautiful place all round and we will definitely be back.
