We stayed in a family room which was a little tired but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Close to the ferry to Malliag. Breakfast was fabulous and option for dinner was nice too. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We had extremely bad weather and there isn't much to do around the location but the cabins are very cosy and the host is providing a variety of family games, there's also Freeview TV. Electric heating works perfect, kitchen is fully functional. Distilleries are fairly close, make sure you book in advance.

The house is beautifully decorated and was perfect for our family of 4. There was a bottle of wine on our arrival and Easter treats for the kids which was so thoughtful. We loved exploring Skye both in the Sleat Peninsula as well as driving out to Portree and hiking out there. For us it was great to be in the quieter part of Skye and we had some beautiful sunshine when hiking to the Point of Sleat. Recommend this house without reservation!

The scenery was superb, loved it. Parking was available; perhaps the best way to access the property is by car (I drove here). The house was very cosy. It has 3 bedrooms and fits perfectly well with my family of 6. Kyle (the homeowner) was very helpful and friendly. He shared advice and guidance to make full use of the house from pre-arrival to departure. And I got a pleasant experience operating the coal heating system, which I never used before. Superb experience and highly recommended!!!

We had a brilliant stay at Tidal cottage. The accomodation is brilliant, incredibly comfortable and really well equipped; the kids loved the PS4 and games up in the little snug and we loved sitting on the deck with a coffee watching the seals. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back.

Great location. Stunning property and kids loved the separate TV / Games room (and so did we as we had the living room to relax in)! This property was by far the best we stayed in during our holiday up North. Would love to stay again. Enjoyed that it was not in a busy place instead it was in a lovely relaxing setting with stunning waterfront views. Thank you for an amazing stay the whole family loved the accommodation and our stay. Feel privileged to have had the opportunity to stay at Rhu House Tidal Cottage.

This holiday home is in the most stunning location with incredible views from the main bedroom and living room. It was so lovely to wake up, open the curtains and see that skyline from bed! The kitchen has everything needed and more, we ate in both nights as it has a lovely gas hob! Comfortable bed and sofas, bath and shower both available! it’s only an hour from Portree and so close to the Armadale ferry terminal. Highly recommended to anyone, whether it be a couple, families or a group of friends
