The Porters Rest Shepherds Hut is lovely. Really well provisioned with the beautiful outside bath. A really special place with everything you could need from bathrobes, toiletries, teas and coffees plus a funky record player. Lots of fun and the owners were really helpful. Even checking I got back from my hill walk safely. Thanks so much.

Mikes place is comfortable, clean and very homey. The rooms are very nicely presented and the view is incredible! We were literally treated like family from the second we arrived. The hospitality here is second to none, nothing is too much of an effort for the staff. The food is fantastic and Mike sorted us out with dinner spots to go to that were superb. Everything was perfect, we are looking forward to returning in future.

The lodge was immaculate! So cosy and homely too. Had absolutely everything we needed for our family week away. The site was lovely with amazing views over the lake! Very child friendly also. We would definitely like to return here again in the future! Was like a home from home, and we felt a little sad to leave. Thank you for making us so welcome.
