Our room was very unique with a "cave-like" feel within the chateau. It was warm and comfy, with the added bonus of having heated floors. This is a unique accommodation in a very beautiful setting. I implore anyone to try it at least once. The facilities were excellent rooms all decorated to a high standard. So much space. Host was there to welcome on arrival which was a nice added touch. Within meters of a wine tasting venue including a shop to but wine and other delicacies. Also has a personal parking space. We stayed at the townhouse for two weeks and made it a base for exploring the Loire Valley. For that purpose, it was fantastic! Laurence, the hostess explained everything to us regarding the house and we also made a guided four with her for three hours in her Citroen 2CV. The town houe is in the dead centre of this little village. Two great boulangeries within 100 metres, well stocked supermarket 400 m. Charcuterie shop with plenty of ready made quiches, terrines, salads etc. just opposite one of the bakeries. Off street parking. Great WiFi. Fully equipped kitchen. One could not have wished for a better place.
