The gite is very picturesque with a beautiful tree shaded courtyard where we ate idyllic breakfasts, lunches and had a BBQ. We used the pool several times for refreshing swims and used the pétanque court with our friends who were staying nearby in Mirabel-aux-Baronies (we walked to visit them a few evenings, there isn’t a footpath all the way but the road is quiet). The highlight of our trip was a tour led by Frederic of his vines and the vineyards around Vinsobres. The tour started in the grounds of the gite and ended in the tasting room with a very generous tasting. Lots of lovely towns with huge markets in the vicinity and interesting Roman ruins.
