You are staying in a room located in the turret which used to be part of the oldest part of the 14th-century castle. Jean and Marie are super welcoming hosts, and their family has owned the castle for almost 200 years (crazy, huh?..). While, obviously, the interior reflects the rich history of the place, the room had everything we needed: - a relatively modern bathroom with all necessary amenities - complimentary drinks (water, juice, coffee/tea). - comfy double bed The (optional, for an additional fee) dinner was amazing and truly incredible: you don't get to have a candlelight dinner in a kitchen of a medieval castle. Breakfast was great too, with some typical local French products and fresh berries (strawberries, cherries) from the garden. TL;DR: if you are into 'experience-driven' stays - look no further.

Everything was amazing. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. What a feeling to enter the homely apartment and to be met woth chocolates and a nice bottle of wine. Only topped with the loan of a car to do some shopping when ours was broken. Excellent facilities and a wonderful location. Arras such a short drive and lovely walks just from the front door. Probably the nicest family holiday we have ever had. Thank you to Geraldine and Alain for some special memories. Hopefully see you in the summer!

The first thing that strikes you arriving at the house was the serene location, with only the sound of bird song interrupting the silence. The house is modern, large, comfortable and well-equipped, with everything you could need for a long or a short break. One of the highlights was breakfast, which was a feast with an amazing selection of hot and cold food, plus a flask of freshly brewed coffee delivered to our door. The location was stunning - I only wish we'd stayed longer to explore the area further - and our host, Anne-Sophie, was an absolute delight. It's hard to find anything that didn't exceed our expectations. We loved our stay and would definitely book again in a heartbeat.

Everything was great about the property. The house was brand new, appliances easy to use (and also brand new) everything was very clean and very comfortable. I absolutely would stay at this home again.

The hostess is lovely and attentive. The location is very special and rural. The breakfast was outside in the sunshine with even fresh eggs from the chickens. There were dogs and cats around and even a shetland pony, which was fun to see grazing. Murielle is really thoughtful too, so if you didn' t want the dogs around, she would call them in etc. We didn't use the pool, but it looked great, as well as the area around it to relax.

Nice clean rooms in a beautiful setting. Cafeteria is located on the premises and we had both supper and breakfast there, both were good. Also when we left we could walk out the door and be on the Via Francigena again. The staff was excellent. Recommended.
