We stayed for 4 nights. This is not a new 4 star hotel - it is a very old building with all its eccentric characteristics but if you want the experience of staying in an authentic family chateau home complete with its cats, dogs and horses then this is the one. The building is beautifully surrounded by trees and natural landscaping with a good well equipped pool area. Breakfast was served outside most mornings and was very relaxing. From the hotel you can visit many interesting places as well as walking in the surrounding area. The host Isabel was very welcoming and we would recommend the chateau for anyone looking for an authentic French chateau experience.
