Where do I begin? From the time we entered on the long and winding drive, we were enchanted. We arrived just in time for an incredible dinner served outdoors. The Abbaye itself is certainly extraordinary. The grounds are begging to be explored. We rode bicycles and enjoyed discovering a number of beautiful features of the property. I highly recommend this place!

This rustic cottage in the tiny but tranquil hamlet of Bruant is the perfect place for a short stopover when travelling from the Alps or southern France to the Channel, or for visiting the gastronomic marvel that is Dijon. We stayed just one night but the welcome from the owner (Laeticia) was warm and the cottage is comfortable and good value for its large size. It seemed like we were staying in someone's home. NB there is just one bathroom (downstairs) and bed linen and towels are provided for a small supplement (this is quite normal with French gîtes). Also, there is a cat, but it did not bother us.
Châteauneuf (Near Veuvey-sur-Ouche)

We selected this property as a stop over when driving from the UK to Italy. What a fantastic all around experience. We were welcomed like a part of their family. We instantly felt relaxed and comfortable. The food and wine were exceptional and we stopped there again in the way back to the UK. It was an absolute pleasure to meet and spend time Yan, Jessica and their daughter Myla. We arrived strangers and left old friends, laden with wine and local cheese. The happy memories will last much longer than the wine and cheese! Finally, we must not forget their adorable dog Kali. I cannot recommend it enough if you enjoy good food, good wine and great conversation.

The property was fantastic! It had everything we could need and more, the kitchen was full of all the little things that we forgot to buy in the shops like oil, salt and tin foil, the dining room was laden with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware and the bathrooms even came with toiletries too! It was the perfect location for our wedding across the road! The biggest highlight had to be the downstairs bar room with music, darts and table football, we really weren’t expecting that!
