Almost everything was perfect. Michel and his lovely partner were friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. The food was good and the communal dining made it feel more relaxed. Beautifully restored historic stone house in the center of medieval village of Flavigny. The beds were very comfortable. Perfect set up for us- two families traveling together with small children. The uppermost floor is air-conditioned. The interior courtyard/garden was lovely. The kitchen was well-stocked with all cooking supplies you might want. Steps away from a very good bakery and a famous anise candy factory. The village often smelled of anise, which was magical. The hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful, making this a wonderful gite.
