A short walk to the village with a Boulangerie and the Angelus, a daytime bar (unfortunately closed for their annual holiday when I was there). Statue in centre of Millet, born nearby. Museum of his birthplace about two kilometres walk or drive. Five kilometres to nearest supermarket or restaurant. Local bus stop in village.

Loved everything about this accommodation. The host was very accommodating. We were a large family that had missed the boat in Cherbourg as the car had broken down, so it was great to get somewhere that wasnt too far away.

Stayed 2 nights before getting the ferry home from Cherbourg - perfect place to end the trip, with really lovely grounds that were perfect for walking my dog in, and the most delicious breakfast served in stunning surroundings. 2 mins from a gorgeous beach, vet in neighbouring town to get my dog prepped for journey home, and 30 mins drive from the port.
