Great ground floor room. I recommend booking it especially if you have limited mobility. Brigitte is very welcoming. She arranged our breakfast order and time the night before. The fruit crumble followed by eggs to order was delicious. We will come again.

We enjoyed our week stay at La Croix Douillet cottage. The views from the cottage were beautiful and so peaceful. The cottage was as described “cozy” which was perfect for us, moreover well-kept and very clean.

The town of Gavray-sur-Sienne was a 5-minute drive away and everything needed was there. We found the local hotel (De la Gare) served homecooked meals which were delicious (reservations needed).
A special notation: everyone we met in this region were extremely friendly, kind and helpful which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Catherine and Juilbert were perfect hosts. Beautiful property that would not be out of place in a Harry Potter scene. We had use of a fascinating kitchen with all modern luxuries but in an old setting. Bed was comfortable and had embroidered pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. TV worked fine. The shower room was spotless, as was the room. The bedroom had a balcony with a view over the local area. Very quiet and peaceful. Slept very well. Looking forward to a return visit.
