We loved our stay at Le Nichoir. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. We loved the room decor and it was so comfortable. We enjoyed meeting the animals and swimming in the pool. At night-time we were blown away by the beautiful stars and felt so lucky to hear an owl as we fell asleep. We stayed as a base to visit Puy du Fou, and it was perfect.

We arrived at the accommodation late and Gite de la Noue waited for us so we could check in.
Very lovely people, we felt welcomed.
The accommodation was cute, clean and tidy. Great shower and comfy bed. We visited a couple of villages close by that were recommended in a book that was left on the lounge. Also tried the best brioche of the region at a bakery close by and it was worth it!

I absolutely loved the property; it’s simply stunning and steeped in rich history. The beautiful surroundings, especially the presence of the abandoned chateau, lend a unique and extra charming character to the experience, making it truly memorable. The host is incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and charming, which further enhanced our stay. Listening to her speak about the history of the chateau and the region was a real treat!
