The only issue for us was no toilet at bedroom level so my wife had problems with the need to use stairs at night.

I was in a solo cycling trip. It was so perfect for what I needed. Clean warm faculties. I stayed in 'Utah' sheppards hut next to my new Goat Mates. Honestly so peaceful and delightful. Lovely shower, tea and coffee bed was so comfy having cycled all day slept like a baby.
Cycled down to Bayeux for dinner ( takes 15 minutes) . A historic medieval town pretty much untouched by the war.

The location was perfect for our purpose to visit the WWII beaches of Normandy and visit some museums and the American cemetery and memorial. Stefan and his wife, Marie were very cordial and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful, with locally obtained fruits; peaches, apples, oranges and more. We were able to have fresh local eggs cooked to order as well as homemade apple juice, yogurt and jams. The jams for the croissants and crusty breads were amazing. We purchased two to bring back with us. Our king size bed was more comfortable than what we have at home and everything was clean and provided with a great deal of thought for decor and quality. Such a lovely place to return to after a long day of touring the area.

Breakfast was simple and excellent. Served in a common area , where you met the other guests. Location is quiet and relaxing, handy for Bayeux, Caen and Juno beach. Great for a stopover if travelling by boat from Cherbourg.

An absolute gem, a perfect stay at the start or end of your trip to France. About half an hour from the ferry port. Hotel room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was amazing. A good selection of rooms, some with self catering facilities.

What a relaxing place to stay! Having a horse roam the garden, eating clover, was such an amazing site. We had dinner here our first night and it was perfect. We had the duck and our son, the turkey with pasta. Breakfast was done in the best way and completely stress free. The whole stay was exactly what we needed. We’ve already recommended our friends and family stay here if they are in the area. We will definitely be back!
The people are absoletely wonderful, the room was beatiful and if you have children (or yourself) are into knights and or horses this is the perfect stay.
This was a fantastic place to stay, incredible building and we were well looked after by the owners who were jousting champions, complete with medieval games and jousting arena in the grounds! We had a delicious dinner one evening cooked by our hosts. Our family room was enormous and very well equipped. Thank you!
