Perfect cosy little cottage in the middle of the mountains. I stayed for a few days in the cottage, then later stayed in my small camper van on the ranch. Went horse riding in the mountains too which was fabulous! Perfect set up either staying in the cottage or with your own van. Thanks for a fabulous stay - I’ll definitely be back.

Tourist train only, so not noisy. Great accommodation, well equipped. Thoughtful touches such as plug adapters for UK travellers. Easy run to Rennes Le Chateau or Montsegur. Big Lidl supermarket at Limoux, or smaller one at Quillan, where there's a good Saturday market. Also extensive fun market at Esperaza on a Sunday. Private garden with lots of sitting places. The river Aude runs right next to the garden, so you can watch the wildlife with a coffee. Local English speaking very helpful caretaker. Very highly recommended.
