The location was perfect for exploring the area. St Emillion and its wineries were about 10/15 minutes away and Bordeaux was about an hour. The apartment was clean and well furnished with new appliances and kitchen needs. There was a cone coffee maker as well as a nespresso machine(the local grocery store actually had Starbucks nespresso pods). The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Benedictine, our host, was wonderful and patient with our French. She was glad to show us her winery and her product. Highly recommend Gite du chateau Rose des Vents.

A beautiful spot and so relaxing. The host was a gem - extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our wine tasting and discussions. Our only regret is that we didn't stay one night more.

Many great wine areas are only a short drive away through beautiful country side. Restaurants and shops are also only a short drive away. Very relaxing location.

This is a charming very comfortable and roomy apartment in a beautiful and very private location with parking. The host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was attractively decorated and has all the amenities travelers could wish for. Close to St. Emilion and surrounded by vineyards. There were even fresh flowers.
