A lovely location in a tiny, quiet, friendly village, with meadows, woods and a small castle within walking distance. The room is accessible by a staircase only. There is a parking spot next to the house. The cottage is clean, with a modern interior and rustic charm. There is no phone signal, but the room has good wifi. The host, Patrick, is very nice, friendly and helpful and speaks English very well. Breakfast consisted of crossaints, baguettes, jam, butter, milk and coffee. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, a toaster and a kettle. The place is dog-friendly.

What a lovely place to stay. The setting is quiet, tranquil and surrounded by open countryside. The owner/hostess, Fanny, made us very welcome and showed us to a beautiful en-suite room with a four-poster bed. An evening meal was taken in the dining room complete with a long table, the type seen in films. The meal offered was vegetarian and although neither of us is vegetarian, I have to say that it was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. After a good nights sleep, we thoroughly enjoyed an excellent breakfast. Looking forward to staying here again.

Absolutely everything., the room was lovely, bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast is the best I’ve had anywhere, Isabelle is an amazing hostess.
The restaurant along the river offers delicious food and wine and the duck is a speciality.
The old mill that is still operating was really interesting to watch and learn about and the nut oils they make there are divine, along with the duck products as well.
We had a room with a balcony and only wished there had been more days available to stay longer.
To all the aussies out there reading this review, do yourself a favour and stay here.

We had a wonderful stay in the separate house, perfect for a family. Beautiful property, and great to have so much space for the children to play. Big bonus for the swimming pool and hot-tub. We only stayed for one night as we were traveling, but would have been perfect for multiple nights too! Very kind hosts.

Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
