This place is a real gem. The host Stéphanie is absolutely charming; the room was fabulous - large, spacious, spotlessly clean and a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was great with a really good shower. The breakfast was magnificent. Everything was 100%. We will most definitely be back!

The accommodation was absolutely exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We were spectators at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and were looking for a peaceful place to stay, away from the crowds, with good access to public transportation to Versailles and the center of Paris. This accommodation met exactly those criteria. It’s 10 minutes to the train in Rambouillet and 20 minutes by train to Versailles. Ideal.

Situated in Rambouillet, 20 km from France Miniature and 32 km from Gardens of Versailles, L'Ermitage features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We arrived early and they gave us access to the room. The diner at the restaurant was nice and if you like running or walking the area is verry nice. Less if you have 2 little kids (2y and 4y). Lucky that there was a small playing area close to the hotel.
The staff spoke English which is nice since our French is poor.
Our family room was clean, quiet, spacious and cool with air con which was essential as it was 37 C heat! Food at restaurant was simple but delicious. Breakfast very good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Picturesque village. Couldn’t ask for more. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
