This is a first rate Chambre d'hôte! Éric and Valérie are perfect hosts. A kind and interesting couple who give the impression that nothing is too much trouble. Our nicely-decorated room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. As the name suggests, the home is on the edge of woods and there are lovely walks, right from the door. Excellent.

This was the second time I’d stayed here and the setting is absolutely stunning. For someone travelling solo there is so much available within the vicinity such as restaurants, bars, spa, pool etc. The staff are always very professional and friendly and the rooms are gorgeous.

What a super little place! Les Pilotis is a very special stay. Although we could have stayed on an emplacement in our camper we chose one of the lovely chalets with its own little garden. Beautiful warm pool and spa facilities (sauna/hot tub). Our hosts Frank and Martine could not have been more helpful. Quiet pretty countryside but an easy bike ride into Cognac.

The location is good, a few minutes walk to the centre, but very quiet and peaceful. The property appears newly renovated to a very high standard throughout, and is well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable. Arnaud was extremely helpful and attentive and stored our bikes in a garage. We were on a cycling tour. and this was by far the best accommodation we stayed in. Highly recommended.
