A beautiful give. We had a wonderful restful night stop over before continuing our journey home to the UK. Pity we didn’t have more time for a longer stay. Would definitely use again if passing through.

It's not often that I place a review, but the hospitality at Chateau Igny was simply amazing. Very nice welcome with drinks and dinner. Breakfast was a 5 star experience. Our kids also loved the pool (and the 2 dunkeys as well as Harper - the dog). Thank you again.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Thank you to our hosts, who could not have been more welcoming. The building itself is beautiful and obviously lovingly restored. We (wife and I, and three kids) had an extremely restful night’s stay in the family room which was very generous in size. Before we left we were treated to a lovely breakfast with fresh pastries. We will return again for sure as we have decided one night wasn’t enough in this beautiful building!
The hosts were super friendly and provided a warm welcome upon arrival. You feel like you are staying as part of a family here rather than just at a soul-less hotel.
The house was very handy for the autoroute. We were passing through on our way back to the ferry at Caen.

We had a lovely big room with a 'salon' area. Very comfortable.
The hosts offered us a cup of tea in the garden on our arrival, where we met the family dog, cat and the chickens.
We declined the kind offer of an evening meal as we had eaten earlier.
Comfortable and lots of character. Breakfast was excellent and the owner also offered a super evening meal. The waiters (the owners children and a young girl from the village) were lovely.

Our hosts Sylvie & Alain were so welcoming and we had our evening meal sat with them and other guests around a large table outside, even though our French is very limited we were made to feel like part of a large family. we will be returning next year enroute to Spain of that there is no doubt
