We chose the location because it was close to Cognac. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit and jams. The room was clean and the besd was comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent, only 10 minutes from our family, which was a bonus. Great area to visit, and easy to get to various sites of interest. Not many eateries nearby, but good supermarket and cooking facilities, in the property, were great, Owner was lovely, very friendly and gave us a bottle of his lovely Pineau des Charentes. We will definitely be staying here again, and family will be booking for future friends to stay. Thank you for a perfect stay!

We had a perfect stay at La belle Charentaise! Plenty of room, comfortable beds, secure driveway and the whole space around the house, very quiet location. The hosts were very accommodating, kind and went over and beyond to make sure we had a great time! I cannot thank them enough for helping us to locate our spare car keys, which we left somewhere within the property and only realised hundreds of miles away - they were so kind and sent them to us - I will never forget that! It's a beautiful courtyard of old buildings that has been very tasefully refurbished retaining it's old world charm. It is in a secluded area with nice gardens and good free parking. The breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. The owner was very pleasant and went out of his way to change our room to suit our needs.
