We chose this bed and breakfast because of all the fabulous reviews on Booking.com and WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! Jean, our host, was friendly, attentive, and interested in making our experience a pleasant one. Coming from the United States, it seems we were a novelty, but we were driving from Metz back to Paris and wanted a small village. Jean shared historical information about the area and about his home. We enjoyed the kebab restaurant down the road, even though they were wondering what Americans were doing there! We love the backroads of Europe! And we love meeting the people! The experience was exactly as we had hoped! The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was generous. When we come back to Metz, we will definitely come back to Solgne!

Well located with enough parking. Nice breakfast. The host is very helpful, even made us a dinner reservation in the nearby family run restaurant.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very friendly host who showed us all we had to know. We had the family room which is fairly priced. Good simple breakfast was included for us. Good parking on the premises.
