The owners were very helpful. We had to leave very early to catch the ferry, and they put out a selection of breakfast things for us to have (as we left 2hrs before breakfast was being served)
The place itself was exquisite the rooms were outstandingly comfortable and the whole place was fabulous just a shame we didn't have long there as we got there in the evening and had to leave very early.
The owners were very knowledgeable about the history of the place, too

Perfect rooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, and complete with a kettle and tea bags. Annie was helpful, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Also very helpful with letting us put food and ice blocks in the fridge/freezer. Perfect communications

This is the third time we have stayed here. Perfect for us travelling down to Limousin. We must have been a trial for the hosts, (arriving late due to hold-ups in Paris, and then leaving early, before the usually excellent breakfast). But we like staying here.
