We had a short stopover at this apartment on the way through France, it was easy to find and we got a nice welcome from the owners. Françoise and her husband made us feel comfortable and were allowed to use the kitchen to cook some chicken for our dog. The room is nice, the wifi was good, parking was easy. Breakfast was nice and we enjoyed our time with the hosts. Really good value for money!

We had a wonderful experience at la prieure. Everything about our short stay was exceptional. The hosts Paul and Caroline could not have been more charming and helpful. Our tour of the chapel and grounds was a pleasant bonus. The evening meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Very nice traditional building, that was finished to a very high standard. Set in spacious grounds, with ample parking, and on edge of a river with boardwalk to historic town center. All the staff were most helpful, and provided us with much information. Really nice, but very quiet, historic town with fantastic Abbey and other historic buildings, all well maintained.

This is the perfect place to stay when travelling in France or passing through to somewhere else. A true home away from home with great facilities and very caring owners. The rooms are great, beds nice but most of all, I really felt welcome and it was almost hard to leave. Breakfast and homecooked dinner was very good, especially in the company of the owners themselves. They also helped me to arrange for an oil change when I came back the 2nd time which is hard to do on your own when travelling on a motorbike. Location is beautiful and peaceful.
