Sainte Croix is out of the way of everything but La Besace was a jewel of a place. Aga, our hostess couldn't be more friendly and made you feel welcome. Dinner was available on site which was good French home cooking and provided the opportunity to meet other guests. I would definitely recommend.

I stayed at Escapade de Vauclair whilst walking the Via Francigena, for which it is conveniently situated. I enjoyed a warn welcome and a relaxing stay in this modern, comfortable apartment . The breakfast was excellent. I cannot recommend it too highly!

Accomodation is on-route for pigrims walking the Via francigena and is pilgrim friendly. Restaurant was open for dinner and breakfast. The food on offer was good.

The view was so peaceful and everything was really excellent. Great place for bigger groups. Close to Reims and all of the Champagne district. Easy to access from Paris. Close enough to Belgium for a quick day trip.

The hotel is located not far from the highway and is well suited as a stopover to break up a long drive. The pool was great after a long day in the car. Especially when you travel with kids the pool is a great feature. It was open until late and the kids jumped in once more after dinner.
The room was actually an apartment and it was wheelchair accessible, in fact the whole place was accessible which is really rare esp in france.
There was a a pool (under a retractable cover) with a hot tub and a pretty garden with a large attractive sand pit for children which was a nice touch. It looked like there would be entertainment (singers etc) at busier times. Would recommend.
