The host doesn't speak english but that is not a problem as he is very expressive and you can undestand anything he wants to say.
We've had coffe in the morning and some biscuits wich was amazing!

The hotel blew us away. It was very difficult to know what to expect from the pictures on the website so I was bit worried but my god did it exceed our expectations! Attention to detail is second to none in everything - interior, service, ambience.

Christopher is a true gentleman. He knows everything of everything, even his marmelade is better than José who has a restaurant down the road. Frederique is a wonderfull woman. Warm and friendly. The house is a very special place. You can feel the history the moment you come through the frontdoor, and become a part of it. The brother of Christopher occasionally visits and he is the funny one. He is sometimes very present, but if you make him laugh he is your friend forever. His jokes are the best on whole of Corse.. shiva the dog is an old soul. She watches over the house and its inhabitants. To visit La Marlotte is a true experience. It will make your life richer. Dont wait too long and make a reservation there. This is a nice hotel located in the Restonica Valley. It's a great base if you plan on hiking in the valley. It's imperative to have a car to stay here, and they have a large free parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable and looked exactly like the pictures on Booking.com. The pool is amazing, and a wonderful place to relax after your day hiking. There is a fabulous restaurant attached to the hotel, with great food and staff - be sure to book ahead.
