Everything about Maison Hirondelles exudes quality. The property has been carefully and tastefully restored, the furnishing is exquisite and the attention to detail is exceptional. Tress and Paddy were the perfect hosts always making sure that our stay was as perfect as it could be. And if you stay at Hirondelles make sure you dine in as Paddy’s cooking is simply superb. We certainly intend to return next year.

No breakfast . More honest than the person at Bussiere _Portevine who when we arrived after booking an apartment for 4 nights wanted to put us in a bedroom behind the kitchen in his house. No way .
Set in Blond and only 40 km from Parc des expositions, Fonclaire Holidays Carpers Rest offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Small, friendly family run camp site and accommodation. We stayed for one night (just passing through). Really nice pool. Everything very clean and quiet. We booked a tent (already pitched), very comfortable with good beds and cooking equipment provided. The staff were really kind and helpful.

Hosts were really friendly and hospitable. On our arrival we were made to feel comfortable and enjoyed a lovely swim in the pool which is in the well kept grounds. Our host even went to the trouble of advising and booking our evening meal at a local restaurant which was exceptional. Breakfast was great with freshly baked breads and a selection of local jams to top it off.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
This is a unique and beautiful house which is full of historical interest, and guests are welcomed and entertained to perfection by the family who have lived here for eight centuries. An outstanding experience not to be missed.
This was a 'last minute' arrangement for us. and our host could not have been kinder in looking after us, and accommodating myself, my partner, and our 5 month old baby. It was a real treat
Extraordinary chateau with most welcoming host
So much was shared with us regarding his extraordinary family history.A unique and exceptional experience and so very glad we visited .
We had an amazing night at the chateau!
There are 1000 beautiful details here that can be looked at endlessly. Vintage furniture, portraits and the whole chateau in general create incredible atmosphere
Separately, I would like to note the hospitality of the owner - Louis! He is so nice and intelligent person! He gave us very interesting tour and told many intriguing things about the chateau and his family.
Unique experience! Don’t think - just book ♥️
The warmth of welcome, the attention to the comfort of all the family, young to old, the feeling of being valued all made for a wonderful visit. Dinner by candlelight the crowning glory.
This is a place for those who wants something different from ordinary hotels.
This castle, steeped in history, is very interesting place.
It has run in the same family for over 800 years since the 13th century.
Albeit the place does not offer the latest modern facilities it offers so much more in terms of charm, character and a most hospitable welcome. A place for those who want to see culture, history and something different from standard hotels.
We got a guided tour of the chateau as we arrived conducted by the owner who's family have owned the chateau for many hundreds of years. The wonderful warm welcome we had was also extended to our dog and we were made to feel like part of the family.
