We were surprised at the size of the property and grounds. The main house is beautiful.Our chalet(chambre d’hotes) was immaculately clean with plenty of room inside, great power shower, self catering facilities if you needed them but we ate out in the evening so didn’t need them. Underfloor heating, was nice but also had air conditioning in the room if you’re staying in the summer months.
Breakfast,which is served in the conservatory, was delicious, with more than enough to eat and drink. Francois, our host, was friendly and made us feel really welcome.
Although we didn’t use it, there is an outdoor swimming pool in the garden which was surrounded by sun loungers which would be a great place to relax in summer.

quiete and nice space. The baker, butcher , pharmacy and even mini market is right around the corner. very convenient . There is a little park for kids two streets up. Because of the higher hills the temperature is cooler. Not much traffic and you get quickly to the inner highways to visit the next little towns or chateaus . It is very close to Versailles as well. I think there is even a bus and down the hill there is a train to Paris and other destinations . We were with a car though . Parking was right in the courtyard.

Very beautiful old house with a real sense of family history with a few modern touches and very comfortable. The owner showed us her the antique hand drawn family portraits adorning the walls. English was spoken well and we were made to feel very welcome. They made my birthday stay very special. The swimming pool was delightful. Delicious breakfasts!
