The chateau is stunning inside and out . It feels as if you are visiting a friend - who happens to own a chateau. Tne grand entrance has a view through gracefully tall doors, via strikingly simple topiary and beyond to the pool. The hotel is located on the town square. The room was fine - albeit a little small and up 2 flights of stairs with no lift - which for 2 guys carrying moorcycle gear and luggage was a tad tiresome at the end of the day. Parking was free and right out front. The fact that the restaurant was open - indeed the ONLY open restuarant in town that day - was a blessing and the food and wine did not disappoint.
