The house was beautifully decorated and cared for. The facilities were great. We were very warmly welcomed and shown around. Our flight was late, and Ann waited outside at 10pm to let us in and show us around. The heating was on to welcome us. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've stayed in away from home. The bathrooms were modern and really well done. The kitchen, dining and sitting area was lovely. There is a gorgeous garden, and 10 yards beyond that beautiful walks along the river. One of the nicest places I've stayed.

I have not stopped recommending the Château since my visit. It was in and of itself beautiful, with charming, historic decor. But on top of the château, you get to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the region (with all the llamas, highland cows, goats, etc. near the property), and the lovely gardens maintained by the owners.
