The apartment was very clean and spacious. Everything was provide and the host greets you to ensure you have all you need. We had real problems finding this property with our Satnav and phone GPS both trying to send us down footpaths and across fields where there was no road! Eventually we found our way in and after a wait were greeted by the host. Our room was very tastefully decorated, had a good bed, bedding, towels and a great ensuite bathroom. We had a great night’s sleep here. The setting is lovely with gardens and fields surrounding the building and an outdoor balcony with seating.

We had great time at Parenthèse and can only recommend it to everyone looking for an authentic and comfortable stay in the route between Mont Saint Michael and Saint Malo. The place has the best taste in details and quality: cozy rooms, amazing breakfast, garden and common spaces. Le Vivier sul Mer is not crowed but situated in a strategic position with services and restaurants nearby. Special mention to Meave whose attention to guests is remarkable and has always both a smile and a local tip to give. And to François to make us feel at home. Hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful property in stunning location. Hugo was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Allowed us to charge a bike in his kitchen and got out of bed early to allow us to leave and catch a ferry.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Perfect size for our family of 3. Well equipped. Great to have the pool to cool off in. Easy parking. Good location for 3 brilliant days trips: mont st michel, st malo and Dinan. Nearest town 5 mins away Dol De Bretagne also very quaint with good boulangerie options and lovely cathedral. Highly recommend.
The place is very calm and cosy. We had a cottage with the private parking and a beautiful small inner yard. Owners were friendly and helpful. It is a great place to stay with kids, as there is a nice playground on territory.
